Fat Burner Workout with Hannah Eden

Thursday, Jul 5, 2018

We love everything Hannah Eden does – her workouts, her attitude, her positive words of encouragement… you name it. So what better way to pay tribute to one of #TeamDynamax’s own than dedicate a workout to her? See if you can survive this up-tempo, cardio killer and kiss goodbye to fat.

Based out of Fort Lauderdale, Hannah Eden spends her days making goers to her PumpFit Club sweat – and they sweat buckets. Hannah’s crafted her skill or exercise planning and workout knowledge into creating tough total-body fat-loss workouts – perfect for when you’re short of time or want to finish your weight session on a high.

“You won’t just melt fat,” says Hannah in a recent interview with Women’s Health, “you’ll also improve strength, endurance, range of motion, flexibility, and stability… And the best part is, you’ll have fun even though you’re being challenged. Because I believe if your mind is bored, chances are your muscles are too.”

Much like her hair, this workout is explosive.

Hannah Eden’s Fat Burner Workout

Sets: 4
Rest: 90 seconds

Jumping Goblet Squat

20 seconds on, 10 seconds off x3
A wild one – combine a goblet squat (replace a dumbbell with your Dynamax medicine ball) with a high jump. Keep your core tight with the high jump and ensure you’re safely holding the medicine ball and not swinging your arms out. This will force your legs to propell all the power.

Double Knee Strike

20 seconds on, 10 seconds off x3
Lie on the floor with your Dynamax medicine ball above your head. Bring your left knee up to the ball in a crunch motion and lower before doing the same with your right knee. Finally bring both knees up together to crunch with the ball, and repeat.

Medicine Ball Swing

20 seconds on, 10 seconds off x3
Replicate a kettlebell swing but with a medicine ball, focusing on your grip and holding the ball tight as you swing the ball from between your legs and raising in front of your body.

V-Ups

20 seconds on, 10 seconds off x3
Lie on the floor with your arms stretched above your head and legs stretch outwards. In one swift motion, bring both your legs up to meet your arms in the middle – creating a V shape with your body. Aim to touch your ankles or toes and reverse the movement to return to the starting position.

For the final round on the final set, try to outlast 20 seconds and go for as long as possible.

Shock your body – if it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you.

If you fancy going toe-to-toe with our dynamic Hannah and fancy working out just like her, the first step is getting the equipment. For workouts listed above, the Dynamax Mini Medicine Ball is ideal for beginners to perfect their form and motion. Go get ‘em, tiger.
